Parents and Carers
Parent Partnership
We believe that children benefit most from their early year’s education when parents, carers, families and settings work together in partnership.
Our aim is to work alongside parents/carer as their children's first and most important educators by involving them in their children's education and in the full life of the setting.
We encourage families to visit the setting prior to any decision being made by you and would indeed welcome more than one visit. During these visits there are opportunities for the child to explore the environment and meet other children within the comfort of their family nearby. This is also an excellent time to meet the staff and ask questions.
Families will be introduced to their ‘keyperson’ who will take particular responsibility for the settling-in time. The ‘Keyperson’ is responsible for their care and learning during their time with us and we always value your insights about your child.
The team encourages as much parental involvement as possible, and we feel sure that by working together positive and caring relationships can be formed.
